New Services:

Both the Brunswick County Library and the Richardson Memorial Library now have "Quiet" rooms available for patrons who need a quiet, comfortable setting for reading, working, research, tutoring or meeting with small groups. 

An attractive new garden bench has been donated to the Richardson Memorial Library in memory and honor of Mabel Tillar.  The bench sits outside the Library's front entrance for patrons' convenience.

Heritage Quest, an online database for genealogical research is now available to library patrons

Mango Languages, an online tool for foreign language learners. Basic as well as advance courses to more than 30 languages including French, Italian, Russian, Arabic, and Chinese. ESL is also available.

CDs, DVDs and games on disc can now be repaired and cleaned for a fee of $3.00 per item

A new standing order program allows the library to have new fiction titles by popular authors available as soon as they are released.  Read more...

Board games can now be checked out at both libraries and used in the Library

Bike locks are available for use on the bike rack at Richardson Library - ask at the desk

Covered drinks may be brought into the library but must be left at the circulation desk when using a computer
