How
To Get a Library Card
To obtain a card, fill out a card registration form and take it to the
circulation desk. Registration forms are available at the library circulation desks
at both library branches, or you may print a copy of the adult
registration form.
Children
under 18 must have their parent's or guardian's permission and must be
able to sign their name to apply for a library
card. The parent or guardian must provide
acceptable name and
address identification and assume responsibility for all materials and fees
on their child's card.
Teachers from Greensville County Public Schools, Brunswick County Public Schools or Brunswick Academy may apply for a Teacher's Card in addition to their personal library card. Extended borrowing privileges are provided for materials checked out on a Teacher's Card. Proof of employment must be provided.
A non-resident card is available for an annual fee of $10.00. Students with a permanent address outside the service area, must pay the non-resident fee.
Report lost or stolen cards immediately. A $1 fee is charged to replace a lost or damaged card.
New key-chain cards are now
available.
