Acceptable Identification
A free library card is issued to Brunswick County, Greensville County or City of Emporia residents or property owners who show acceptable name and address identification. A valid street address is required; a post office box is not acceptable.
Identification can be established with:
• a driver's
license
• school identification card
• other valid picture
identification issued by a government agency
If no valid picture identification is available, then at least two other forms of identification must be provided. They can include:
• tax bill
• utility
bill
• voter's
registration card
• employee
pass, etc.
It is the patron's responsibility to notify the library if there is a change in name, address or telephone number.
