Performances
Wild Animals with Class
Henry Michaolski, the “Nature Boy” has performed for over 6,000 audiences in
over 30 states. He provides informative, witty and energetic programs that are
relevant to the world of nature.
Celebrate the Art of Animation
The library gets animated with special surprise movie. A craft will given to
kids to complete at the library or at home.
The Magic of Creativity and the Arts
Rob Westcott performed over 75 reading programs last summer. This program
features magic, music, art, writing and theater. Rob performs in a top hat and
cape and floats a child from the audience!
Watch as Rob inspires young children to read and celebrate creativity and the
arts!
The Virginia Living Museum
With rivers and waterfalls, mountains and sandy coast Virginia is alive with a
wide array of wildlife. Come to the library to see first hand the nature of
Virginia.
Artist Nancy Green
Children will experience first hand how to become an artist. Come and watch art
come to life with just a piece of paper and a pencil! Children will also bring
their own art to life in this fun time for all.
Be A Star!
Have you always wanted to walk the red carpet? Well now is your chance! Come and
enjoy being a star at your library! Kids of all sizes may dress as their
favorite character for this fun filled time at the library. Refreshments will be
served and prizes will be awarded!
